  • Drawing from three decades of experience, our strategic consulting service delivers global impact for museums. We bring together international teams to identify opportunities, design international outreach initiatives, recommend potential partners, advise on the creation of new exhibitions, develop licensing and fundraising initiatives, provide sustainability assessments, and develop financial impact reports.

  • The Museum Box organizes and places traveling exhibitions for museums. As part of this service, we assess financial viability and determine fees, design exhibition proposals, prospect and place exhibitions within our global network of 500+ museums, create and negotiate tour contracts, budget and manage vendor bidding processes, and project manage delivery within defined budget and deadlines.

  • We offer organizations the option to outsource part or all of their traveling exhibition management. We provide these services through our team and can also build ad-hoc teams through our network of highly specialized contract professionals when museums need support for specific projects. We give museums access to our network of project managers, registrars and other museum professionals. These services extend to loans and co-organized exhibitions.

  • In 2021, The Museum Box partnered with Doors 门艺 Art & Culture Agency, based in Beijing and Paris to provide high quality production and consulting in China. Founded in 2017, Doors was created to respond to a growing demand for cultural dialogue between China and the West. The partnership between Doors and The Museum Box allows our museum partners to develop their presence in China by providing local expertise and on-the-ground support by specialized staff.

  • In 2020, The Museum Box joined forces with Venice-based D.H. Office to provide project management and customizable solutions for Venice Biennale exhibitions and associated events. Since then, we have extended our offerings to include comprehensive management of all Venice needs for museums, institutions, foundations, estates and artists. Our offerings span from location hiring, production and event-related needs. From planning to execution, our local teams of project managers, registrars, and collection experts, specialized art handlers, architects, marketing and communication specialists and an A-list of trusted vendors, can handle A-Z exhibition production and event management inside and outside the Biennale.

  • Alongside its Traveling Exhibitions Support, The Museum Box offers unrivaled access and comprehensive support in Japan ensuring extensive professionalism and knowledge of working practices.

    In 2017, our president, David Gramazio was honored with the Japanese Ambassador's commendation for his noteworthy contributions to Japan-Italy relations and his pivotal role in the 150th anniversary celebrations. Furthermore, our CEO Anna Bursaux's, department, when she worked at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, supervised the museum's extensive traveling exhibitions program in Japan, including oversight of the MFA's sister museum in Nagoya, JP.
